- Mr. Devang Thakar is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in finance, secretarial compliance, and corporate legal consultancy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science, followed by a Diploma in System Management and a Master’s in Financial Management from NMIMS and Mumbai University. His academic background laid a strong foundation for his career, complemented by his professional qualifications, including being an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) since 1991.
- In addition, he is an Independent Director, an Insolvency Professional registered with IBBI and ICSIIIP, and a Registered Valuer (Securities and Financial Assets) with IBBI and ICSI RVO. Devang’s extensive professional experience spans various industries where he has worked in areas such as corporate legal consultancy, financial planning, financial restructuring, and corporate legal compliance advisory. Before establishing his own practice, he worked with prominent companies such as Pidilite Industries Limited and Amforge Industries Limited, gaining valuable insights into corporate governance and compliance.
- Apart from his professional work, Devang is also an academic contributor, having served as a visiting faculty member at prestigious institutions like NMIMS, IES, and IBS (ICFA) in Mumbai, where he taught Finance and Business Law.
